If you are invited as a guest to an individual's client portal or added as a connection to an Entity workspace, you not only have access to your own personal client portal, but also the portal/workspace you belong to as a guest or connection.
As such, tasks to be actioned specifically by you for either yourself or a workspace you belong to as a guest will appear in bell notification icon, now in a consolidated view.
You will continue to receive email and push notifications when you are assigned a task for action, so that you never miss an important update.
To view consolidated tasks in the bell notification icon:
- Log in to your client portal and click on the bell icon.
- A consolidated list of tasks assigned specifically to you to action for either your personal account or a workspace you belong to as a guest is shown.
The file/workspace the task belongs to is listed at the top of the task name, so that you can clearly identify what you need to action and for whom/which file/workspace. - To action a task, simply click on it from the bell notification list.
If the task belongs to a workspace that is not the one you are currently viewing, a pop-up window will ask you to confirm the switch.
To proceed, click 'Yes, switch workplace'. - You have now switched to the relevant workspace and the task that requires your action is presented for you to complete.
