Within the Room, the Members area shows all those invited to share the information and tasks within the Room.
Your financial professional who creates the Room, and you and your co-owner/s are all added to the Room automatically . All Room members can invite other members to join the Room. You can invite current team members, your financial professionals' staff members as well as external guests and give them permissions to access just the Room or the entire client Portal.

Open the relevant Room and visit the 'Members' area.

Select ‘Add people’ and a drop down menu with adding options will appear.
- Choose to either 'Add a team member', 'Add a staff member' or 'Add your own guest'
a) Add your own guest: Allows you to invite external guests to the Room. You can specify whether they are a professional or family member and also determine the level of access they will have to your portal, such as access to the Room only or selected/all portal information
When adding an external guest to the Room, you must to determine the level of access this Room member will have to the portal. You can choose from None, Full, or Custom access (which allows you to specify the list/view/modify/delete permissions of each area of the portal).
After adding a Room member with guest access, you can adjust their permissions within the portal if things change.
b) Add a team member: Shows all current portal team members . Simply click on the member and select 'Invite to Room'
The team member will receive a notification and the Activity area will show the team member joined the room.
c) Add a Staff member: A current staff member of your financial professionals' firm can be added to the Room by selecting ‘Add a staff member’ and choosing the staff member from the list. You will need to configure the level of access that this member will have to the portal.
The Staff member will receive a notification and the Activity area will show the team member joined the room.
To remove a member from the Room:
1. Open the relevant Room and visit the 'Members' area.
2. Locate the Room member you want to remove and click on the rubbish bin icon within their name.
3. A pop-up prompt appears. To proceed, click 'Remove'.
4. Once the Room member is removed, a confirmation message appears and the Activity area records the action.
